how i bullet journal.

during one of my pregnancy-related insomnia nights, i had the idea to start another bullet journal. my first bujo was a catch-all for to-dos, planning, daily tasks, etc. it basically replaced my planner. this time around, i am solely using my bujo to document 2017.

[if you're wondering what the heck a bullet journal is, it's explained perfectly on the bujo website. if you want inspiration overload, search #bulletjournal on insta. there are tons of youtube videos as well.]

COLLECTIONS

since i'm not using the bullet journal for daily tasks, it's really just a bunch of collections. this is a yearly bujo, so i'll add more as the year goes along. here are the collections i've added so far:

INDEX

this is self-explanatory. the index is a table of contents to help find where each collection/list is.

MONTHLY LESSONS + REALIZATIONS  //  MONTHLY HAPPENINGS

since this is a bujo for 2017, i want to remember the lessons i've learned throughout the year.
i also record random happenings throughout the month.

100 HAPPY THINGS

a list of happy things to remind me of the simple joys in life.

PLACES TO VISIT IN WICHITA  //  MEALS

because my city is wichitawesome.
i also want a list of meals to make because i need ideas before i grocery shop.

WISHLIST

a wish list of items i need/want.

SUPPLIES I USE FOR BULLET JOURNALING

moleskine cashier journal  +  a black sharpie pen

that's it. well, almost. i've added some washi tape to the edges to distinguish the collections. this time around, i want to keep it super simple. no fancy-schmancy non-sense. just a record of this year's happenings, lessons, moments, and lists.
