- i finished sunrise on the reaping. it was easily a 5-star book! i normally don't like prequel books, because you know what will happen to the character, but this was done so well. it followed haymitch's storyline and it was very well executed.
- our baby girl turned TWO this week! she is such a joy + loves snacks, baby shark, + her big brother. [i reflected a lot on her birth this week. read that story here!] 💜
- we went to a pumpkin patch/flower farm on saturday afternoon. (so did half of kansas, apparently!) it was sooooo much fun! we ended the day with carving pumpkins, making it a near perfect autumn day.
- i finished mad mabel. i gave it 3.75 stars. i saw one of the plot twists super early in the book. i was at the 50% mark and almost DNF'd it, but it was worth finishing.
