  H A P P E N I N G S -

+  we went to the fall festival in our city. they didn't have the cobbler from last year, but we still had fun.

+  i am going to miss our rings of power friday nights. that was such a well-done tv show! 🧝🏻‍♀️

+  we took a short trip to arkansas with our family. it was so fun! i had no idea arkansas was that cool.

+  i finished a big report at work, so we celebrated later that night at milkfloat. i had the most delectable apple cider cupcake + a delicious cup of coffee.

+  jackson dressed up as a ninja for halloween. 🥷🏼

 L E S S O N S  +  O B S E R V A T I O N S -

+  it is never fun to have discord in relationships, but i am learning more + more to face them head-on instead of ignoring it. there is healing + growth on the other side of conflict.

+  some people will not understand art. they will not know how to feel it instead of just seeing it. that's okay. it's not for them.

3 THINGS I LOVED IN OCTOBER-

1.  rings of power.  this tv show is in my top five, for sure! and now we are rewatching all of the hobbit + LOTR movies. i *may* even read the books.

2.  halloween night. all our neighbors walk together while the kids trick-or-treat. it is my favorite time of the year in our neighborhood (fourth of july is a close second) because we walk + talk + drink coffee + it is community at its finest.

3.  autumn sweet treats.  from the most delectable apple cider cupcake to the fro-yo to the pumpkin cheesecake + apple galette - it was all so good!
