oh, mylanta. i love blogging. i love the blogging community. i love connecting with other ladies and sharing our hearts and lives. vulnerability is a beautiful thing. to share not only the good and happy, but the pain and hurt - that takes courage. i have met so many incredible ladies through blogging. they understand how it is awesome and weird and fun and crazy all at the same time.
// working with the youth group at church //
sometimes God has us do things in life that - at the time - seem crazy. when God put on my heart to start a youth ministry on wednesday nights at church, i will not lie - i questioned Him. i had no experience or training and no flippin' clue how to teach the Gospel to a bunch of teenagers. but God - He had a plan. [as He always does. and it's always better than what i muster up in my head.] in the last fourteen months, i have watched Him take nothing and make it into a beautiful something.

quite a general term, but true nonetheless. life is crazy and beautiful and hard and lovely and messy and amazing. i'm passionate about a lot of things, i suppose - studying and learning from God's Word. wildflowers. good conversation. exploring. my family + friends. cultivating a life that is not only creative, but authentic - online and offline.
