- i finished the unknown by riley sager. i gave it 4 stars. it was good, but not my fav RS.
- for reasons unbeknownst to me, i am not only soaking in these last days of summer, but i am actually enjoying it! i have a tendency to rush right to all things autumn, but i just want to linger in summer for a little longer. (but also-- i am decorating my home for fall next weekend, so yeah 😂).
- the boys + i went and watched the new spiderman movie after work on thursday. it was such a fun night! i loved curling up in the seat in my comfy clothes with a large pepsi and my baby boy sitting in between me and the man i love. we were 3 of 8 people in the theater, so that was an added bonus!
- i finished writing my 40 lessons in year 40 post, which will be published next weekend. it's hard to believe the coming week is the last of my 30s!
- i am starting to think about my planner/journal for the coming year. it's insane how fast 2026 has gone.
- i walked around target for 2 glorious hours on sunday afternoon by myself. it was just the retail therapy i needed.
- i am on volume 8 of the emma lion series. i’m trying to stretch it as long as i can because i don’t want it to end 🥹 (i’m already impatiently waiting for volume 9, even though i haven’t finished vol. 8 yet 😂)
- i was able to put june’s hair into pigtails and it was SOOOO CUTE. i cannot wait for braids + all the cute hairstyles.
- this blog is 15 years old + i just think that it’s really cool to have a decade + a half of my life documented.
