METEOR SHOWER
at midnight on thursday, i woke up + the boys and i went out and laid on the trampoline to watch the perseid meteor shower. it was so much fun! we saw five in total. i have a distinct memory of my mom waking up to watch a meteor shower with me when i was in high school, so this just felt extra special and we made a fun memory with jackie.

i am two weeks away from turning 40. i have lots of feelings, but the closer i get to it, the less daunting it feels.
don’t get me wrong— it’s an age that feels big, but the Big Feelings i had are often replaced with gratefulness. aging is a gift + i do not want to take a moment for granted. the Lord has been so faithful in the last year and He gets all the glory.
