- i finished the housemaid. in reality, this book is a 3-star read, but i have it 4 because of the atmosphere in which i read the book - on the couch with my boys while it softly rained outside. in my opinion, how a book is consumed can make an "okay" book a good book.
- i also finished finlay donovan jumps the gun. i gave it 5 stars - and not because of the atmosphere (rating a book is very layered for me, obviously!) the narration of this book is incredible. angela dawes is so, so talented!
