december already?!?! that old saying is true: the days are long, but the years are short.
the holidays are in full swing. last year, i read through an advent book leading up to christmas. i had no idea how it would change my heart. it became all the more real and made the season much richer. i highly recommend this practice.
on the calendar this month:
- christmas ❤️ ✨
- christmas in oklahoma
- powersheets prep week!
what i'm loving right now:
• twinkling christmas lights
• watching magnolia table with jackson
• these pens [affiliate link]
• working puzzles with my boys 🧩
books read in november:
+ all good people here - 2 stars [affiliate link]
+ a flicker in the dark - 3 stars [affiliate link]
revisiting my november goals-
- read two books. ☑️
- start brainstorming year-end recaps for the blog. ☑️
- find an advent study for december. ☑️
- research church history. this goal is too broad, so i am making it a big goal for 2023. i need to break it down into smaller, easier steps.
- recap my weeks on the blog. yep! i have published my weekly musings almost each week for the last year. ☑️
- social media sabbath. each friday evening to saturday afternoon. ☑️
- set up winter quarter bullet journal. ☑️
- write + publish autumn quarter recap. ☑️
