:: our miracle girl turned ONE! the last year has been everything i dreamed of with having 2 kids, and i am so grateful to the Lord. [here is the story of our miracle girl]
:: i met one of the biggest goals i have ever set for myself: breastfeed my baby for one year. 365 days of nourishing my baby. i look back and am so dang proud of myself! as a working mom, i sacrificed + dedicated so much of myself. it was worth every single moment + more. i will say that the notion that you save money was not the case for me because i made up for it with an excess of crumbl cookies + indulgences because "i am feeding my baby + my body needs it." 😂
:: i started using an ergonomic mouse at work + am a little obsessed.
:: we celebrated our girl with a "first chapter" themed birthday party. yes, books. i am in love with how it turned out! the banner + cupcake toppers were so sweet. but the best decor were the books from my childhood that my mom kept for me. i had everyone sign one of the books as a keepsake for june's first birthday. it was the sweetest day!
:: i survived yet another stressful work week, but had one of the funniest memories where my boss accidentally stole my phone + it had me laughing for hours!
:: i finished 2 books this week:
- the unselected journals of emma m. lion (vol. 1) - 5 stars!
- what i ate in a year - 4.5 stars
:: i found an app called benable that lets you create lists of all your favorite things. something i have learned about myself is that i love to give a good recommendation, so this app is so fun to me!
